Com temperaturas mais altas e a diminuição da umidade do ar, a tendência para ocorrer focos de incêndio aumenta consideravelmente. Esta tem sido uma preocupação constante do Corpo de Bombeiros de Picos em que somente em uma única semana dois incêndios de grande proporção foram registrados no município.
A comandante do Corpo de Bombeiros, capitã Ana Cleia Diniz, explica que a maioria das queimadas é provocada pela ação humana, daí a importância de conscientizar a população para os riscos.
“Neste período já se tornam maiores o registro de queimadas, e é por isto que intensificamos o trabalho no Corpo de Bombeiros, tanto para conter os focos já corridos como evitar que eles aconteçam através do trabalho de conscientização junto às escolas e à população de forma geral”, disse a capitã.
Ana Cleia ainda faz um alerta para que as pessoas evitem colocar fogo em lixo e em roças, pois alguns casos podem configurar crime ambiental.
Quando a queimada é crime ambiental
De acordo com o Artigo 250 do Código Penal, queimar qualquer coisa em ambiente aberto é considerado crime, além de causar problemas à saúde e poluição. O Código Penal nomeia crimes como as queimadas de “crimes contra a incolumidade pública”, veja o que o Código Penal diz sobre esse assunto:
Art. 250: Causar incêndio, expondo a perigo a vida, a integridade física ou o patrimônio de outrem.
Pena: reclusão, de 3 (três) a 6 (seis) anos, e multa.
Aumento de pena
1º – As penas aumentam-se de um terço:
I – se o crime é cometido com intuito de obter vantagem pecuniária em proveito próprio ou alheio;
II – se o incêndio é:
a) em casa habitada ou destinada a habitação;
b) em edifício público ou destinado a uso público ou a obra de assistência social ou de cultura;
c) em embarcação, aeronave, comboio ou veículo de transporte coletivo;
d) em estação ferroviária ou aeródromo;
e) em estaleiro, fábrica ou oficina;
f) em depósito de explosivo, combustível ou inflamável;
g) em poço petrolífero ou galeria de mineração;
h) em lavoura, pastagem, mata ou floresta.
Incêndio culposo
2º – Se culposo o incêndio, é pena de detenção, de 6 (seis) meses a 2 (dois) anos.
