Kleber Eulálio comemora e afirma que já começou a trabalhar em Picos
As eleições na cidade de Picos, a 306 km de Teresina terminaram com a eleição do então deputado estadual Kleber Eulálio. O candidato obteve 53,53% dos votos válidos, uma diferença de 4363 votos em relação a candidata Belê Medeiros que ficou com 42,22% de preferência nas urnas.
O candidato que agora comemora a vitória nas urnas, afirmou que o trabalho começa imediatamente. “Hoje é uma noite para comemorar, mas amanhã já começamos a pensar muito no trabalho para assumir os compromissos que temos com o povo picoense”, comentou o candidato em sua 1ª entrevista, logo após a apuração das urnas.
Segundo ele o planejamento para os quatro anos de gestão já começou. Kleber deverá renunciar ao cargo de deputado estadual até o fim deste ano, para que possa ser diplomado prefeito do município.
Balanço das eleições
Homens do exército e da Polícia Federal garantiram a tranquilidade no pleito eleitoral que teve um balanço de poucas ocorrências. De acordo com a Justiça Eleitoral a Polícia Federal cumpriu dois mandados de busca e apreensão, três flagrantes por transporte ilegal de eleitores, um flagrante de compra de voto e um por porte de armas.
De acordo com o promotor eleitoral Maurício Monteiro, a Justiça esteve presente em todos os locais de votação e apurou todas as denúncias recebidas. ” A grande maioria das denúncias foi infundadas, mas apuramos todas. O cidadão está ciente que o Ministério Público está presente. Ficamos três dias sem dormir”, concluiu o promotor.
