Rodovia Ducha Portela interliga Paquetá e Santa Cruz do Piauí
Os moradores de Paquetá e Santa Cruz do Piauí estiveram em festa na tarde de ontem, dia 24, quando foram agraciados com a inauguração da Rodovia Ducha Portela, a PI 460, que interliga os dois municípios. A estrada pavimentada com asfalto tem 11 km de extensão e foi construída pelo Governo do Estado, através de empréstimo contraído junto ao BNDES e Banco do Nordeste. As obras foram executadas pela Construtora Santa Inês.
O governador Wilson Martins esteve nos dois municípios, acompanhado de grande comitiva e ainda dos prefeitos de Paquetá, Cristiano Gonçalves Portela e de Santa Cruz do Piauí, Jandira Martins Gonçalves, para a inauguração. Centenas de populares de Santa Cruz e Paquetá também prestigiaram o desenlace da fita e descerramento da placa inaugural.
“Com planejamento, o governo do Estado tem investido para construir estradas, ligar as cidades e promover o desenvolvimento do Piauí. Através de empréstimos do Proinfra (linha de financiamento do Bndes) que o governo está dando continuidade a estas obras”, pontuou o governador Wilson Martins.
RODOVIA DUCHA PORTELA
A PI 460 recebeu o nome de Rodovia Ducha Portela, em homenagem ao senhor Filandro Portela Neto, que faleceu no final de 2009, aos 81 anos, sendo que em vida exerceu forte influência política naquela região, responsável pela condução de várias obras públicas para Paquetá (ainda povoado de Picos), como mercado público, posto de saúde, estradas, grupo escolar, etc. Duchinha, como era conhecido, exerceu mandato de vereador em Picos por 12 anos.
Uma de suas filhas, Gláucia Portela, atual vice-prefeita de Paquetá, agradeceu em nome da família pela homenagem. O projeto de lei, aprovado pela Assembléia Legislativa, denominando a rodovia foi de autoria do deputado Kléber Eulálio (PMDB).
