Idoso morre em colisão frontal entre moto e caminhonete em Patos do Piauí
Um homem de 60 anos identificado como José Vicente da Silva morreu durante uma colisão frontal em uma rodovia estadual em Patos do Piauí, a 400 km de Teresina. A batida aconteceu por volta das 4h30 desta quarta-feira (27) quando o idoso voltava de moto para a localidade onde morava na zona rural do município.
De acordo com o cabo José Macêdo, do Grupamento de Polícia Militar (GPM) de Patos do Piauí, a hipótese mais provável é de que o motociclista tenha invadido a contramão e colidido de frente com a caminhonete modelo F-4000 que trafegava na direção contrária. Com o impacto, o condutor da moto teve morte imediata.

“A vítima tinha acabado de sair da BR-407 e entrou numa rodovia estadual que dá acesso ao povoado Cajueiro, na zona rural. Ele invadiu a contramão e bateu bem no meio da F-4000, que ficou parada na mão correta”, falou o cabo.
Os policiais militares da cidade de Patos do Piauí foram acionados cerca de meia hora após o acidente e estiveram no local. Ainda de acordo com o cabo José Macêdo, o motorista da caminhoneta se evadiu e até o meio dia desta quarta não havia se apresentado à polícia.
