Prefeito, vice-prefeito, vereadores e suplentes são diplomados em Picos
A Justiça Eleitoral realizou na noite desta quinta-feira (08), o ato de diplomação dos candidatos eleitos, no último dia 02 de outubro, aos cargos de prefeito, vice-prefeito, vereador e suplente da cidade de Picos. A solenidade de diplomação, que foi presidida pelo juiz da 62ª Zona Eleitoral, Adelmar Martins, foi realizada na quadra da Unidade Escolar Coelho Rodrigues.
A diplomação é o ato pelo qual a Justiça Eleitoral atesta que os candidatos foram efetivamente eleitos pelo povo e estão aptos a tomarem posse nos respectivos cargos no dia 1º de janeiro de 2017.
O evento contou com a presença da chefe de Cartório da 62ª Zona, Daniela Martins Duarte; das deputadas estaduais Flora Izabel (PT) e Belê Medeiros (PP) e do presidente da OAB de Picos, Franck Bezerra. Familiares e amigos dos eleitos, correligionários e a população em geral também compareceram no evento.
Em Picos, no cargo de prefeito foi diplomado o Padre Walmir Lima (PT). Ele assumirá, no dia 1º de janeiro, o comando do Palácio Coelho Rodrigues pela segunda vez. No cargo de vice-prefeito, foi diplomado Edilson Carvalho (PTB).
Na oportunidade, os 15 vereadores eleitos e os suplentes também foram diplomados.

Segundo o prefeito reeleito, Padre Walmir Lima, a diplomação é o reconhecimento da Justiça Eleitoral de que o candidato eleito está apto a tomar posse no dia 1º de janeiro. “A gente fica feliz, nós estamos tranquilos, conscientes da responsabilidade e da grandeza da missão. Vamos trabalhar com mais experiência e mais conhecimento”, pontuou.
O gestor reiterou ainda que a administração irá trabalhar no aumento da receita, execução de mais obras e colocando cada servidor em sua função cabível. “Nós vamos administrar, porque nós somos servidores da população picoense e queremos honrar cada voto de confiança das pessoas que votaram e os que não votaram, porque nós fomos eleitos pelo povo picoense”, frisou.
O vice-prefeito eleito, Edilson Carvalho, destacou que o sentimento é de gratidão à população picoense. “Esperamos e confiamos em Deus que possamos cada estar vez melhor e atendendo as expectativas do povo”, disse.
Os 15 vereadores eleitos diplomados, foram: Afonsinho (PP), Carlos Luís (PSDB), Chaguinha (PTB), Dalva Mocó (PTB), Dedé Monteiro (PPS), Evandro Paturi (PT), Hugo Victor (PMDB), Irmão Zé Luís (PTB), Maté (PSL), Renato (PRP), Rinaldinho (PP), Simão Carvalho (PSD), Toinho de Chicá (PP), Valdívia Santos (PRP) e Wellington Dantas (PT).
