De acordo com o Comandante do 4º BPM (Batalhão da Polícia Militar), Tenente-Coronel, Wagner Torres, um caminhão foi alvo de furto no município. O veículo furtado era um Mercedes-Benz, modelo L 1620, de cor vermelha e placa NCD 3583, de Picos.
Esse furto aconteceu no bairro São Vicente, por volta das 15h00min, deste último domingo (10). Em 2013 a polícia militar já desbaratou três quadrilhas especializadas em furto de motos. Um total de nove pessoas já foram presas nesse início de ano.
