O Instituto Objetiva, Pesquisa e Divulgação realizou no município de Picos uma pesquisa sem indução de votos no período de quatro dias no mês de agosto para verificar as empresas e os profissionais picoenses que se destacaram em atendimento e qualidade de produtos e serviços.
A presente pesquisa avalia as empresas que são destaque nos setores de Educação, Comunicação, Profissionais, Comércio Varejista e prestação de serviços. Como metodologia de pesquisa, questionários foram entregues nas residências de populares situados nos mais variados bairros de Picos, e posteriormente sistematizados.

Assim como em 2014, o Portal de Notícias RiachaoNet foi eleito novamente, pelo público, como melhor portal de notícias da macrorregião de Picos em 2015. O portal ao longo de mais de uma década de atuação vem buscando cumprir com seu papel, levando informação com rapidez e primando pela veracidade dos fatos. Idealizado pelo professor e jornalista Evandro Alberto, o mesmo é líder em acessos na grande região de Picos, a maior referência no webjornalismo do sertão piauiense.
