Acidente entre micro-ônibus e D-10 mata casal e deixa dois feridos
Duas pessoas morreram e mais duas ficaram feridas em um acidente na divisa entre o Piauí e a Bahia, nesta quinta-feira (17). A colisão ocorreu por volta das 15h e envolveu um micro-ônibus e uma camionete que capotou e caiu sobre uma das vítimas que foi sacada do veículo.
“A colisão ocorreu em uma rotatória na BR-020 e informações preliminares apontam que o motorista da camionete invadiu a preferencial e o ônibus colidiu na traseira. Os dois foram sacados do veículo”, explica o cabo M.Silva, da Polícia Militar de São Raimundo Nonato. O acidente ocorreu entre as cidades de Fartura do Piauí e Campo Alegre de Lourdes, na Bahia.
De acordo com a PM, as vítimas seriam da localidade Angico, na Bahia, e foram identificadas como Benilde Maceda Ribeiro e Manoel Paes Landim. O motorista do micro-ônibus foi identificado apenas como Mazenaldo e se evadiu do local.
Nenhum dos passageiros do micro-ônibus, que fazia diariamente linha entre as cidades dos dois estados, ficou ferido. Os veículos envolvidos no acidente têm placa de São Paulo.
Os corpos foram levados ao necrotério do Hospital Senador Cândido Ferraz, em São Raimundo Nonato, e em seguida serão liberados para velório na Bahia. Os feridos tiveram apenas escoriações leves e estão no mesmo hospital.
