Estradas no Piauí somam 3 mortes, 11 presos por embriaguez e carro a 160 km/h no feriadão
Um balanço parcial Operação Dia do Trabalho, da Polícia Rodoviária Federal no Piauí, contabilizava até o final da tarde deste domingo (3) três mortes, 11 prisões de motoristas por embriaguez e multas por e 329 multas por excesso de velocidade. Em um dos casos registrados pela PRF-PI, um veículo transitava em rodovia federal a 160 quilômetros por hora.
A operação começou na quinta-feira (30) e só acabará à meia-noite de domingo. O resultado final só será divulgado na tarde desta segunda-feira (4).
Até a tarde de domingo, foram fiscalizados 2.312 veículos e 2.381 pessoas. Dos 718 testes de etilômetro, ficou constatado que 27 motoristas dirigiam embriagados. Todos foram impedidos de seguir viagem, sendo que 11 acabaram presos.
Foram flagrados 392 motoristas em excesso de velocidade. Radares móveis foram utilizados pelos agentes da PRF para registrarem as ocorrências. A multa pode chegar a R$ 574,62 e a carteira de habilitação pode ser suspensa.
