Menina de 13 anos morre após cair de cavalo em Patos do Piauí
Uma adolescente de 13 anos, identificada pela polícia como Marivania de Sousa, morreu na tarde do domingo (24) após cair de um cavalo na cidade de Patos do Piauí, a 90 km de Picos. A jovem cavalgava com uma amiga em uma rua da cidade quando o animal saiu em disparada e ambas acabaram caindo.
De acordo com o tenente J. Araújo, comandante do Grupamento de Polícia Militar (GPM) de Patos, Marivania bateu a cabeça no calçamento. “Eram dois cavalos. Em um iam as duas meninas e no outro ia um jovem. O cavalo em que as meninas andavam se descontrolou e elas caíram”, contou o policial.
O comerciante Fernando José de Sousa avistou o momento do incidente e contou que correu para prestar socorro. “Eu vi de longe quando elas caíram, corri e fui socorrer as meninas. Quando eu cheguei ao local uma delas já estava desacordada. Ela sangrava pelos ouvidos e mal respirava”, disse.
Uma ambulância da Secretaria de Saúde do município de Patos foi acionada e muitos populares se aglomeraram no local. A jovem foi levada para o Hospital Regional Justino Luz, na cidade de Picos, mas acabou morrendo.
A adolescente morava em Jacobina do Piauí, cidade localizada na mesma região. Segundo os moradores de Patos, a menina tinha ido se divertir em uma barragem do município. A outra jovem sofreu ferimentos, mas passa bem.
O Hospital Regional Justino Luz confirmou a morte da garota. O corpo da jovem foi periciado na manhã desta segunda-feira (25) e em seguida liberado. A perícia constatou que ela sofreu traumatismo craniano decorrente da pancada no calçamento. A adolescente será velada em Jacobina do Piauí.
