Na tarde desta sexta-feira (30), a polícia militar da cidade de Paulistana prendeu o homicida Reginaldo Daniel de Carvalho, de 48 anos. Ele é acusado de ter matado em 1998, o fazendeiro José Belizário Vieira na cidade de Taiúva -SP.

O mandado de prisão foi expedido em 2000, pela 1ª Vara da Comarca de Jaboticabal/SP. Além do homicídio, Reginaldo também é acusado de ocultação de cadáver da vítima.

Por causa da grande comoção causada na época, o crime foi mostrado no programa televisivo Linha Direta da rede Globo.

Em uma operação coordenada pelo Capitão Felipe, o foragido foi encontrado na casa de uma irmã na zona rural da cidade de Simões por policiais da Força Tática da 5ª Companhia Independente de Polícia Militar e da Unidade de Polícia Militar local.

“Estamos levantando informações e organizando um banco de dados que nos ajudará a prosseguir com as operações em nossa área no sentido de capturar presos foragidos da justiça com mandados de prisão em aberto. Nosso serviço de informações está sendo instruído para esse fim, e, por isso, temos logrado êxito em identificar vários elementos em situações análogas a esta” – asseverou o Capitão Comandante da Cia PM.
