Polícia prende acusado de matar tio e sobrinha em Bocaina
Em menos de 24 horas do crime, a Polícia Militar de Picos prendeu na manhã desta segunda-feira (5), por volta das 10h, Edílson de Sousa, acusado do duplo homicídio na cidade de Bocaina. A prisão foi realizada na localidade Batedor, zona rural do município.
Edílson é acusado de matar a ex-companheira, Jessica de Araújo Rocha e o tio dela, Adão de Araújo Rocha na noite de domingo (4), na localidade Agrovila, zona rural de Bocaina. Após o crime, o acusado empreendeu fuga.
Segundo informações do capitão Elias, os policiais localizaram o acusado no matagal. A arma utilizada no crime, um revólver calibre 32, está em posse da Polícia Civil.
O capitão Elias informou ainda que Edilson foi levado para Central de Flagrantes e em seguida será encaminhado para Penitenciária José de Deus Barros.
