População de Picos cresce apenas 0,26%, aponta IBGE

Os números divulgados pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia (IBGE) nessa terça-feira (30), sobre a estimativa populacional 2016, apontou que a população de Picos cresceu apenas 0,26%. Os dados mostram que em Picos moram 76.749 pessoas.

Em relação ao ano passado a cidade teve um aumento de somente 205 habitantes, ou seja, apenas 0,26%.

Mesmo com o crescimento lento, Picos continua com a terceira maior população do Piauí. A capital Teresina está em primeiro lugar com 847.430 habitantes e em segundo Parnaíba com 150.201 moradores.
