Prefeitura constrói canaletas na via lateral da BR 316
Seguindo o cronograma de execução de um plano de drenagem para evitar alagamentos, a secretaria de Obras, Habitação e Urbanismo de Picos construiu canaletas na via lateral da BR 316, no bairro Junco, em frente à sede da Emater.
A instalação das canaletas retirou o esgoto que corria à céu aberto na via. Além de pavimentar o local, que estava praticamente intrafegável.
O secretário de Obras, Cláudio Galeno, visitou o local nesta segunda-feira (15) e aprovou o serviço. Segundo ele, a obra é de grande importância pela situação que se encontrava a via. “Aqui foi feito remoção de aterro, tivemos que fazer novo calçamento e fizemos o encanamento para o escoamento do esgoto”, disse.
Galeno reiterou ainda que a situação do esgoto era bastante caótica. “Foi uma obra que demorou bastante pela complexidade dela. Parece simples, mas não foi tão simples assim”, explicou o secretário.
O serviço segue no bairro Junco com reparos no calçamento e também à canalização do esgoto da entrada do bairro Parque de Exposição. A obra foi iniciada nesta segunda-feira.
O mototaxista Francisco Fontes disse que a obra é importante para os veículos e pedestres que circulam diariamente pela via. “O calçamento é bem-vindo, principalmente para nós que circulamos aqui todo dia”, afirmou.
