Prefeitura de Sussuapara melhora abastecimento d’água na zona rural

Desde que assumiu o comando do Executivo Municipal de Sussuapara em janeiro de 2013, umas das principais ações do prefeito Edvardo Antônio da Rocha (PP) tem sido a ampliação e melhoramento dos sistemas de abastecimento d’água de povoados e localidades do interior.
A mais recente ação da Prefeitura nesse sentido foi na localidade Baixa dos Mouras, onde o poço tubular foi aprofundado em mais de 30 metros e ganhou novo revestimento e tubulação, com a troca dos antigos canos de cimento amianto por canos de PVC.
O trabalho garantiu um abastecimento mais eficiente das residências como também na melhoria da qualidade de vida dos moradores. É o que garante a dona de casa Francinete Barbosa de Santana, residente em Baixa dos Mouras.
De acordo com dona Francinete, antes do serviço feito pela Prefeitura a água do poço, além de fraca, chegava às torneiras de sua residência bastante salgada, praticamente inservível para o consumo humano. “A gente aqui em casa não tinha coragem de beber essa água e usávamos apenas para o banho e outras necessidades da casa. Para beber nós tínhamos que pegar no poço do Carnaúbal (povoado mais próximo) ou na cidade (sede do município)” – declarou, acrescentando que agora sua família e outras 20 residentes naquele povoado, contam com água de boa qualidade e disponível o dia todo nas torneiras.
