Secretaria de Assistência Social realiza pesquisa de historia de vida da habitante mais idosa do Município
Na manhã desta quarta-feira (08), a orientadora social do Serviço de Convivência Jardânia Ramos Bezerra Sá, levou os jovens de 15 a 17 anos ao povoado Km 80 para conhecer e entrevistar a habitante mais idosa do município que em outubro deste ano completará 100 anos, Carmina Maria da Conceição, conhecida por mãe Carmina devido à atividade de parteira que desenvolvera durante longos anos.
De acordo com D. Carmina ela nasceu no povoado Carnaíba e mudou-se para o Km 80 na década de 70 com seu esposo e filho durante a construção da BR- 316. “logo que chegamos meu esposo construiu uma barraca de palha ao lado, onde passamos alguns meses, em seguida ele comprou uma propriedade e construiu uma casa que hoje é propriedade da família de Francisco Elpídio Ramos(seu Quinquim)
Dona Carmina realizou seu primeiro parto contra a vontade de seu esposo, pois o mesmo não queria que ela exercesse essa função, após a morte do mesmo ela deu continuidade aos partos. Segundo ela foi realizado por a mesma mais de duzentos, não sabe ao certo, sendo que o ultimo foi no ano de 1997 de uma senhora conhecida por Loura residente no Km 80, no mesmo ano D. Carmina sofreu um acidente doméstico e quebrou a perna (o fêmur), em 2007 ela perdeu totalmente a visão, hoje ela vive sozinha sob os cuidados de Luzia que auxilia durante o dia.
