Baiá é diplomado pela Justiça Eleitoral e assume a Prefeitura de Campo Grande dia 1º de janeiro
A Justiça Eleitoral realizou na tarde desta terça-feira (13) a solenidade de diplomação dos candidatos eleitos no município de Campo Grande do Piauí nas eleições de outubro deste ano. A diplomação é o último ato do processo eleitoral, que torna os candidatos aptos a tomarem posse no dia 1º de janeiro de 2017.
A solenidade foi presidida pelo juiz eleitoral da 19ª Zona, Dr. Franco Morette Felício de Azevedo, e contou com as presenças do chefe de Cartório, Rafael Mota Monteiro, da representante do Ministério Público Eleitoral, a promotora Ednólia Evangelista Almeida, além de um grande número de pessoas, dentre políticos, amigos e familiares dos diplomados, que lotaram o auditório do Centro Cultural do Trabalhador Rural de Jaicós.
Aos 46 anos, João Batista de Oliveira, o Baiá (PMDB), como é popularmente conhecido, recebeu seu quarto diploma da Justiça Eleitoral. Ele já havia sido eleito e diplomado no cargo de vereador para a Legislatura 2001/2004, e prefeito de Campo Grande do Piauí por duas vezes – 2005/2008 e 2009/2012.
A essas vitórias, em sua trajetória política, soma-se, ainda, a eleição do seu sucessor em 2012. Nas eleições deste ano, Baiá foi candidato pela oposição e eleito com 52,44% dos voto válidos, dados que o consolidam como a maior liderança política do município.
No cargo eletivo de vice-prefeito, a Justiça Eleitoral diplomou o médico Elias João Ramos (PSB), líder do grupo político da família Ramos, aliança que influenciou diretamente no resultado das eleições. Elias era pré-candidato a prefeito e decidiu por apoiar a candidatura de Baiá. A união dos dois grupos foi vista como a consolidação da vitória do grupo oposicionista.
Baiá e Elias serão empossados nos respectivos cargos no dia 1º de janeiro, em sessão solene na Câmara Municipal, que acontecerá logo após a virada de ano.
Em entrevista, disse estar honrado em receber o seu terceiro diploma como prefeito do município de Campo Grande do Piauí. “Fico muito feliz em receber mais esse diploma, que nos dará a oportunidade de administrar os destinos da minha terra por mais quatro anos. Fico honrado pela confiança que as pessoas depositaram em mim. Graças a Deus e com muita luta, nós fizemos uma campanha limpa, falando do nosso trabalho e apresentando nossas propostas, e a população compreendeu a nossa vontade de fazer mais por Campo Grande”, disse.
Baiá afirmou que está pronto para o desafio e que fará uma gestão pensando no município e no bem comum de todos. “Quero dizer aos campo-grandenses que a partir de 1º de janeiro iniciaremos mais um mandato, onde vamos governar para todos. A política passou e os eleitores serão tratados todos como cidadão, com direitos iguais”, pontuou. Em relação à Câmara Municipal, o prefeito defendeu uma parceria em prol do município. “Vamos trabalhar em parceria com a Câmara. O que eu peço aos vereadores é que sejam firmes, honestos e que contribuam com o desenvolvimento de Campo Grande. Esse é nosso desejo e tenho certeza que poderei contar com o apoio dos vereadores”.
Sobre os nomes que irão compor a sua equipe de governo, o prefeito Baiá informou que os nomes estão sendo definidos e que deverá ser anunciada dia 25 de dezembro.

Na solenidade, também foram diplomados os candidatos eleitos para a Câmara Municipal – Martinho Belchior da Silva (PSB), Eliana Maria Bezerra (PDT), Janaina Ramos Bezerra Sousa (PSB), José Arnaldo de Carvalho (PT), Flávio Pereira de Sousa (PP), José Joelce Bezerra de Oliveira (PSD), Francisco das Chagas Sousa Junior (PSB), Jardânea Ramos Bezerra (PP) e Ronigler Francisco da Silva (PP). Também foram diplomados os primeiros suplentes de cada Coligação – João Bosco de Sousa (PMDB) e Manoel Rubens de Sousa (PP).
Para o juiz eleitoral, Dr. Franco Morette, a diplomação encerra o processo eleitoral e atesta a vontade popular. “Estamos formalizando a legitimação que os senhores e senhoras eleitos receberam do povo na última eleição, para agir em seus nomes no exercício de seus mandatos”, disse. O magistrado recomentou que os eleitos atuem em benefício do povo e lembrem-se dos ditames da Constituição da República e da Lei Orgânica Municipal. “Esta é a função de vocês a partir do próximo ano, agir sempre em nome do povo, nunca exercendo o mandato como forma de angariar benefícios próprios em detrimento de interesse público. Aliás, convém ressaltar que serão representantes de todo o povo do seu município, e não apenas daqueles que o apoiaram na época da eleição. Nada de perseguição descabida, orgulho impertinente, ao contrário. Todos devem trabalhar unidos, sempre respeitando os princípios da moralidade, impessoalidade, publicidade, razoabilidade e motivação dos atos públicos.
O juiz destacou que, a partir da posse, os eleitos integrarão os Poderes Executivo e Legislativo, que devem ser independentes e harmônicos, devem deixar de lado as intrigas e lutar pelo bem comum. “É hora de esquecer os atritos ocorridos em tempo de campanha, e tentar honrar com trabalho a confiança que lhes foi outorgada. A verdadeira democracia se faz assim, com respeito, elaborando projetos e desenvolvendo ações e trabalhando sempre pelo bem comum”, disse.
