Prefeito Kleber entrega UBS aos moradores do bairro Boa Vista
Acompanhado da secretária de Saúde do município, Ana Maria Menezes Neiva Eulálio, o prefeito de Picos Kleber Dantas Eulálio (PMDB), entregou na manhã desta segunda-feira (29), a Unidade Básica de Saúde do bairro Boa Vista.
Sem uma única unidade de saúde no bairro, os moradores da Boa Vista tinham que se deslocar até o bairro vizinho, Passagem das Pedras, para conseguir uma atendimento médico. Com a adaptação da UBS, que antes era uma residência, o atendimento ficou mais próximo, facilitando, assim, a vida dos usuários tanto do bairro Boa Vista como o da Passagem das Pedras.
Segundo o prefeito Kleber Eulálio, a quantidade de pessoas que usufruem diariamente das Unidades Básica de Saúde da Passagem das Pedras e Boa Vista será reduzida, o que deixará o atendimento mais rápido e melhor. “Na medida que reduz a quantidade de pessoas a ser atendida, naturalmente que esse atendimento tende a ser melhor e mais rápido, facilitando a vida desses moradores”, afirmou o prefeito.
Os moradores prestigiaram a solenidade de entrega do prédio. A autônoma Roseli dos Santos, que está usufruindo do atendimento médico do novo posto, desde a semana passada, disse que as filas diminuíram e as consultas ficaram mais rápidas. “O atendimento melhorou bastante. A equipe médica é ótima. Todos atendem os pacientes bem”, frisou.
A médica que atende na UBS, a cubana Zuledys Pino Rodriguez, destacou que com a descentralização do dois postos o atendimento ficará mais completo. “Estamos atendendo só os moradores do bairro Boa Vista. Uma média de 25 pessoas são atendidas por dia e isso melhora o atendimento”, contou a médica.
