Representante do Papa no Brasil virá para a festa dos 40 anos da Diocese de Picos
Membros da Paróquia São José Operário estiveram reunidos nesta manhã de sábado (18), para tratar da acolhida ao Núncio Apostólico no Brasil, Dom Giovanni D’Aniello, que chegará em setembro para evento comemorativo da Diocese de Picos. Participaram do encontro, o bispo diocesano, Dom Plínio José Luz da Silva, o pároco, Pe. Adalto Vieira, o pároco da Paróquia Nossa Senhora da Conceição, em Bocaina, Francidilso Silva, o vigário paroquial, Pe. José Mairton, além de religiosas, grupos pastorais e comunidades.
A Diocese de Picos criada em 1974, comemora desde o ano passado, sua festa Jubilar de 40 anos. O tema da festa é “Ser Igreja, comunidade de comunidades, indo e envolvendo a todos”. E como parte desta ampla programação, inclui, a celebração do Jubileu, pelo Núncio Apostólico Dom Giovanni D’Aniello, no dia 20 de setembro, no bairro Morada do Sol.
A reunião deste sábado, teve como objetivo, organizar as equipes que ficarão responsáveis para acolher o Núncio Apostólico, embaixador do Papa, aqui no Brasil. Para o pároco, Adalto Vieira, este será um grande evento.
