Hoje tem banda Xenhenhem e Alvino Luz na 12º Vaquejada de Picos
A Vaquejada de Picos está na sua 12º edição, irá acontecer neste fim de semana, durante os dia 02, 03 e 04 de maio, no parque Santinho Xavier, no bairro parque de exposição.
O evento contará com a participação de vaqueiros amadores e profissionais de todo o nordeste, com expectativa de distribuição de aproximadamente seiscentas senhas. A competição engloba as modalidades: amador e profissional, com a distribuição de R$30.000,00 em prêmios.
Durante a vaquejada acontecerá eventos artísticos, na sexta terá o show da Banda Xenhenhem e Alvino Luz, no sábado tem o rei das vaquejadas Toca do Vale e a banda Jonathan e Júnior e no domingo forró pé de serra nas barracas de apoio ao evento. Uma mega estrutura com arquibancadas, barracas, tendas, área para os caminhões, camarote, estacionamento de veículos está sendo montada, além de um forte esquema se segurança.
A Vaquejada de Picos é um evento tradicional da cidade, na região e também a nível nacional tem como público-alvo, os participantes da competição, além do público em geral . A organização do evento que tem à frente Doriedson do Grupo Motorpeças, Alex Viana do Armazém do Povo e Zé Barros da Loja Alternativa, espera um público de aproximadamente 30.000 pessoas durante os três dias.
Os ingressos antecipados pista e front estão sendo vendidos no Supermercado Leônidas no bairro junco, liderança FM, Na Motorpeças, FM cidade modelo, Loja Alternativa, Baby Brink e no Armazém do Povo.
