A cidade de Picos será sede da Macro Conferência Regional de Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional. O evento acontece nesta quinta-feira (18), no Auditório da Associação Comercial de Picos, a partir das 08h.
O evento é uma promoção da DUSAN-DUAF/SASC e tem como apoiadores a Prefeitura Municipal de Picos, a Secretaria Municipal de Educação e o Governo do Estado.
A Macro Conferência Regional de Segurança Alimentar Nutricional envolverá 89 municípios da região. “Uma macro conferência como essa que vai acontecer é bom para a cidade, pois os olhares de toda essa grande região estarão voltados para Picos, e o município mais uma vez terá a oportunidade de mostrar para o Piauí a sua grandiosidade e o que representa para o estado”, afirmou o Prefeito de Picos, Gil Marques de Medeiros (Gil Paraibano).
