Lojas localizadas no trecho entre a avenida Frei Serafim e rua Davi Caldas fecharam as portas ao perceberem a aproximação dos centenas de manifestantes.
Eles seguem pela rua Davi Caldas até o Palácio da Cidade, sede da prefeitura de Teresina gritando palavras de ordem. Os manifestantes pedem implantação do passe livre no transporte público e a licitação para as linhas de ônibus.
Cerca de 50 homens estão posicionados estrategicamente em frente ao Palácio da Cidade para fazer a segurança do patrimônio público e servidores que ainda estejam pela prefeitura. O manifesto segue tranquilo.

Em frente a prefeitura, os manifestantes pedem que a tarifa de transporte público em Teresina, que atualmente está em R$ 2,10, seja baixado. Um dos participantes pede, através do microfone que algum representante da prefeitura saia e fale com eles.

Após protesto em frente a prefeitura, os manifestantes seguem pela avenida Maranhão. O destino é a Assembleia Legislativa do Estado. Um grupo de pessoas, alguns encapuzados, depredaram um ônibus da empresa Barroso. Bombas foram usadas.
Permissionários do Shopping da Cidade fecharam as portas, assim como lojistas do centro.
No caminho, os manifestantes alegam que é na Assembleia que as leis são feitas e é lá que o Estado é “engessado”.
Segundo levantamento da PM existem cerca de 10 mil manifestantes até o momento.
